The Healing Circle LA is a dialogue space for Black men and women to come together to establish community, support each other and build in a holistic way.
Tools for reducing stress.
Building socially—by reducing hyper-tension and stress that people of color face in under-resourced communities.
Supporting those impacted by social and economic despair.
In conjunction with healing mentally, we want to support people impacted by social and economic despair; by developing tools we can use to decompress and unpack the intergenerational trauma that has been induced for centuries. Ensuring were intentional of self, heightening emotional intelligence, changing material conditions, building financially and diverting constructs of pessimism.
Based in South Central LA.
We are based in South Central LA and serve communities of color that are at risk. We work in conjunction with people of color. Primarily ages 16-35, some elderly folks attend circles as well. We like to bridge cultural gaps, disrupt ageism, classism to get people of color in the same room to establish community with each other.
